Explore the Enchanting Skeleton Gorge Trail by delving into the serene beauty of Skeleton Gorge, tucked within Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. This tranquil pathway winds through lush forests, serenaded by the gentle melody of babbling streams and adorned with a rich tapestry of flora.
Weather:
Be prepared for changing weather with a light mid-layer and rain jacket, ensuring comfort throughout your adventure.
Early morning or late afternoon hikes are recommended during the summer months to avoid the midday heat. In winter, clear days are ideal, but be cautious of slippery paths after rain.
Good to know:
The hike is steep and involves scrambling over rocks. Along the road you will get to enjoy breathtaking views of Cape Town, and stop at several waterfalls along the way. The route is lush, especially after rainfall.
Our hike will be concluded with a refreshing dip in the mountain dam, the perfect end to an unforgettable journey.
